Production Supervisor - 2nd shift

<h2>Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift | Manchester, Iowa</h2> <p>Transparent Search Group is conducting a search on behalf of a manufacturing client based in Manchester, Iowa. This is an on-site, 2nd shift supervisory role suited for an experienced production professional who is local to the area or already planning a move to Iowa. Candidates outside this geography will not be considered at this time.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Supervise and direct production floor employees during the 2nd shift to meet daily output and quality targets</li> <li>Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and equipment utilization to ensure operational efficiency</li> <li>Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards</li> <li>Identify and address production bottlenecks, equipment issues, and personnel concerns in a timely manner</li> <li>Maintain accurate shift records including production logs, downtime reports, and employee attendance</li> <li>Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and day-shift supervision to support continuity of operations</li> <li>Provide coaching, performance feedback, and on-the-job training to production staff</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience in a supervisory capacity</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to lead and develop hourly production teams</li> <li>Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality control practices</li> <li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li> <li>Proficiency with basic production reporting and scheduling tools</li> <li>High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus</li> </ul> <h2>Why This Opportunity</h2> <p>Our client is a stable manufacturing operation with an established presence in northeast Iowa. The position carries a competitive base salary in the range of $70,000 to $80,000, commensurate with experience.
