Compensation: $180,000 - $260,000 + competitive equity

A venture-backed, AI-native specialty-medication access platform that automates prior authorization, benefits verification and assistance enrollment across providers, payers and pharmacies.

The Role

Our client is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (3-8 years) to join a small, high-performing team. You will be a product-minded builder who owns projects end to end, from spotting the problem to shipping and monitoring outcomes, and help define product direction and engineering culture with the founders.

What You Will Do

• Build and ship provider-facing features across the stack (Python, React, Postgres).
• Build AI-powered automation for prior authorizations, benefits verification and pharmacy integrations.
• Build internal AI tooling and infrastructure, including local model hosting and PHI-compliant data pipelines.
• Own projects from problem identification to shipped outcome.
• Work with the founders on product direction and engineering culture.

What You Bring

• 3-8 years of full-stack web development (Python required, plus React and Postgres)
• A product mindset that finds problems, builds solutions and tracks outcomes
• Startup experience or proven high autonomy
• Experience shipping AI-powered features in production
• Ability to work on-site in Flatiron, NYC
