The Role

Our client is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer (4+ years) to join its founding engineering team. You will touch every part of the codebase and product, working closely with engineers, product, the co-founders and customers in a high-agency environment.

What You Will Do

• Build and scale large data pipelines for latency-critical analytical workloads.
• Work across the whole codebase and product rather than a single silo.
• Define the product and engineering roadmap with the co-founders, product and customers.
• Design cost-efficient, secure and highly scalable systems on modern cloud infrastructure.
• Help shape the engineering culture and tech stack.

What You Bring

• 4+ years as a backend engineer
• Large-scale data pipelines or latency-sensitive systems
• Strong Python (Rust a plus)
• Cloud infrastructure design experience

Nice to Have

• Analytics, BI or query-engine experience
• Early-stage startup experience
