A venture-backed digital banking company serving immigrant families in the United States, with a mobile app for everyday banking and low-cost remittances.

The Role

Our client is hiring a Senior Mobile Software Engineer (4-8 years) to own its mobile engineering function. As the senior mobile hire, you will work closely with the founders and engineering leadership on the app that powers banking for immigrant families.

What You Will Do

• Own the mobile engineering function and drive it independently.
• Build and ship features in React Native across iOS and Android.
• Define mobile architecture patterns, tooling and processes so the team ships fast without sacrificing quality.
• Work cross-functionally as a senior leader: manage stakeholders, present ideas and push the business forward.

What You Bring

• 4-8 years of mobile engineering, with production React Native
• TypeScript and GraphQL
• Experience owning mobile architecture and release processes
• Strong cross-functional communication

Nice to Have

• Expo experience
• Fintech or consumer banking apps
• Spanish language skills
