The Role

Our client is hiring software engineers (1-3 years) who architect and ship features across the stack at high speed, building end-to-end workflows, taking them to production and solving real-world problems at scale. As an early technical steward you will raise the bar for code quality and decision-making, and your scope will grow as fast as the company.

What You Will Do

  • Build high-quality products very fast across React, React Native, TypeScript and Python.
  • Build new features from scratch as the technical roadmap moves forward.
  • Talk with customers and build solutions for their real problems with minimal explicit planning.
  • Set a high bar for code quality and technical decisions as the engineering team scales.
  • Help recruit future engineers.

What You Bring

  • 1-3 years building software, with strong pedigree signals and clear entrepreneurial drive
  • Experience at a talent-dense startup or building 0-to-1 products
  • React, React Native, TypeScript and Python
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure
  • Speed without sacrificing quality
  • A customer-first mindset
  • Excitement to work long hours in person in New York 5 days a week

Nice to Have

  • CS degree from a top university
  • Deploying infrastructure on AWS
  • Hackathons, entrepreneurship clubs, VC fellowships or competitive athletics
  • Production React Native apps
